The completed order form can be submitted by fax or by post together with the wording for each item which requires typesetting.

Ordering in stages

We are happy for you to place an initial order for your invitations, submitting an order for the remaining items when the necessary details have been finalised.

How many invitations to order

You will only need one invitation per family or household but it is advisable to order a small quantity as extras. Each invitation is supplied with an envelope, including a few spares to accommodate any errors. A minimum quantity of 20 applies.

When to send out your invitations

Usually invitations are sent out 6-8 weeks before the wedding, although there are exceptions to this: You may be inviting guests from abroad, or being married in a foreign country, or perhaps your wedding falls on a bank holiday. In such cases, unless everyone has been previously notified, we suggest you send out the invitations 6 months prior to the wedding.

When to order

Submit your order no less than 6 weeks before your planned date for posting; unless you have placed your order on the express service, we aim to deliver your order within a 28-day turnaround. This should be an enjoyable time for you so do everything possible to avoid a last minute rush.

The wording of your invitations

Some examples of wording are outlined on the following pages but the text is totally bespoke, so you are welcome to use your imagination! And if you need advice, we are here to help you.

Guest names on invitations and envelopes

The guest names and/or names and addresses must be submitted by Email. All details should be in list format without tabulation. If names on invitations and printed envelopes are required, please submit a separate 'Word' document for each list.

Reply Cards

Although not essential, providing a reply card certainly saves you time contacting guests who have not paid you the courtesy of replying to their invitation.... yes, this does happen!

Information Sheets

We often produce information sheets which are enclosed with the invitation. This usually provides written directions (not maps!), information about accommodation and a wedding list. We will be happy to send you an example on request.
