Paying for your Stationery

Orders below £100 are paid in full at the time of ordering. For orders over £100 in value,
we debit your debit or credit card for 50% of the total order value when you place your order

with the balance being debited on day of despatch. We will notify you of the intended day of despatch when issuing the proofs for your stationery.

Refund Policy

Refund Policy - personalised stationery
We are unable to offer refunds on personalised wedding stationer y items unless faulty. Faulty items must be reported in writing within 48 hour s of receipt of the goods. In all cases where the fault lies with us, we will replace the faulty items free of charge.

Refund Policy - stock items
This clause does not refer to any personalised or bespoke item produced by Picture Palace
Wedding Service on your behalf:
The Distance Selling Regulations allows you, as a consumer buying goods from the internet, to cancel any order you make within seven (7) days from the date they are delivered to you for a complete refund, providing the items purchased are not personalised or bespoke. If you wish to exercise this right, you must ensure that the goods are unused and returned in perfect condition. Carriage/Transport costs are the responsibility of the customer and will not be refunded.

Please note that when returning goods, you are responsible for the repackaging of the goods and they are in your care until they arrive at our warehouse, so please obtain proof of posting/delivery. This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.

Refunds - method of payment
Where the transaction has been made using a credit card, the refund will be made to the same credit card within seven days of notification / receipt of goods. We can only make a refund by cheque where the original item was paid for by cheque.

Carriage
For orders being delivered to a UK Mainland address: A carriage charge of £6.50 applies to all
orders. Order s are despatched on a next-day courier ser vice and all deliveries will need to be signed for.

Saturday delivery option: A surcharge of £18 is made to cover this facility, irrespective of the value of the order.

For orders being delivered to Northern Ireland and Isle of Man: An 'over the water' carriage
surcharge of £6 applies to all order s despatched on our next day courier ser vice to Nor thern Ireland and Isle of Man. Smaller items will be sent by Royal Mail at the standard carriage charge. 

For orders being delivered to the Republic of Ireland, Channel Isles and other international
destinations:
Carriage is charged at cost on all order s for international destinations. We are able to provide an approximate cost for the consignment at the time of ordering with the exact cost being confirmed on day of despatch, at which time the balance of goods and carriage will be paid for in full.

Delivery
Consignments for UK Mainland addresses are despatched on a next wor king day courier service for delivery on a specified day to an address designated by the customer. All consignments require a signature on delivery.

We cannot accept responsibility for consignments which have not been delivered on the specified day because the driver has been unable to obtain a signature for the parcel at the given address. In the event that you need to change the deliver y address after the parcel has been despatched, an administration charge of £12 plus £6.50 re-delivery charge (£18.50 in total) will be made to cover costs charged to us by the courier company.

Errors on Personalised Stationery
A proof is provided for any item requiring personalised printing and the customer returns a signed proof document as approval of the proof. This proof document acts as acceptance of these terms & conditions of purchase. Any printing/typographical error s which have not been notified on final signed proof document are entirely the customer’s responsibility and cannot be reversed once the stationery has been printed. In the event of an error on printed and finished stationer y, a reprint charge will apply if the error is attributable to the customer and the cost of this will depend on the amount of work involved in the re-print. If an error is completely attributable to Picture Palace Wedding Service, we shall re-print the effected items on an express ser vice at no charge to the customer.

We will not be held liable for any claim for inconvenience caused or additional costs incurred due to an error with an order, whether this be the fault of the customer or Picture Palace Wedding Service.

Privacy

We know how irritating it is when companies pass on your details to other businesses who then send you unsolicited emails and junk mail, so we don't do this. The information you provide will ensure that we can fulfil your order efficiently and we want to reassure you that this information will not be made available to any other mailing list.

We will mail you up to date catalogues and newsletter s about our products from time to time, although if you prefer not to receive this, you can tick the option box on the order form.
